Equipment

The DJ equipment is a professional sound reinforcement system with a simple design. Plenty of sound for your special occasion but compact and sleek to give your guests plenty of room to have fun. The equipment is set up before guests arrive. The lights move with the music to give your dance floor a variety of color. We direct the lighting to the dance floor area only making sure not to disturb guests seated at tables. Fog, lasers, and strobes are not used. Wiring is concealed as much as possible and advertising signage is not displayed. The appearance is professional.

The entire system was just updated less than two years ago. Here is the audio equipment list for those interested:

• QSC 2 channel amplifier.

• 2 Yamaha 2-way speaker systems.

• Denon dual CD/MP3 players.

• Tascam 4 channel mixing board.

• BBE Sonic Maximizer.

• Shure UHF wireless handheld microphones.

• APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

I once experienced a power loss at a wedding reception during the couple's first dance! Thank goodness the APC UPS was in place - the couple finished their first dance without interruption even though the rest of the building lost power. I bring several "spare" components to every event in case of equipment failure. These components include a mixing board, CD players, amplifier, microphone, cables, and various other parts. I also consider transportation a key piece of equipment - that is what is used to get the DJ and the equipment to your event. My transportation is a well-maintained, reliable 2006 Honda Pilot.
